Being engaged is an amazing time in your life but it is full of overwhelming emotions. Along with all of the love, joy and excitement can come the feeling of being out of your depth. Many believe your wedding day to be the biggest of your life and with that comes some personal pressure (or so I have found). I am absolutely LOVING the planning process, and I have been lucky in having pretty firm ideas of what I wanted but there are some choices that are harder than others. The dress was a no brainer, I had had my eye on a particular designer from the get go but the stationary, the cake, the cars and the table settings, now they were a little more tricky! This is where I found the amazing vendors of the Ultimate Wedding Planning Party to be a godsend.
The Ultimate Wedding Planning Party (UWPP) is Sydney’s most prestigious boutique wedding event. It houses the cream of the crop of wedding vendors all under one beautiful marquee at the Sydney Opera House. I attending this incredible event last year and found it to be key in helping me decide on some of the major items on our wedding to do list. This year’s event will be no exception.
The vendors who will be attending this years’ Vintage & Classic Bride themed event really are a dream team. From Sweet Art (cakes, florals & stationary) to Vera Wang to Bobbi Brown (who will treat you to some bridal pampering) these industry leaders are the best in the biz!
You can expect to be treated to a bridal fashion show with gowns by Collette Dinnigan, Henry and Michelle Roth, Maria Chiodo, Kristi Bonnici and my personal favourite Steven Khalil (this man is a genius). There is even something for your Fiancé as Ermenegildo Zegna will be showcasing their suits for the discerning groom.
There will be a Q&A with A-List wedding planner to the stars (and my right hand man) Anthony Del Col from Weddings by Staging Connections, Rachael Bentick from Inlighten Photography and industry leaders ARIA Catering who will all be happy to help you sort out those tricky details.
All the while enjoy champagne and canapés from ARIA catering while you get one on one advice from the amazing vendors. I really cannot even begin to highlight just how amazing this event is. While being incredible helpful it is also a fantastic night out with your bridal party.
